June 1, 2016

Thanks for Being One of the Very First Visitors to Our New Site—and One of Our First Blog Post Pioneers!

We hope you have a few minutes to stick around and check out the great things the revamped has to offer. Read on for a few highlights to get you rolling.

Designed Just for You

We wanted to make sure this site would be fun and easy to use. So it’s specially designed to help you find what you need quickly and easily. The navigation areas at the top and bottom of every page will most likely have a link to the information you’re looking for. And if you ever have any trouble navigating the site, just click on the Contact Us link at the very top of each page. We’re here to help!

Get to Know Us

If you enjoy California history—or you just love nostalgia—be sure to take a look at the Rockview History. Rockview Farms has been part of Southern California for almost a century now, and we’ve got a great story to tell. You’ll also find a few great images from the good old days.

All-New FAQs

Times are changing, and we know folks today have important questions about the foods they put on the kitchen table and the companies they support. We made sure our new FAQs Page addresses the most important of those questions and concerns.

Stay in the Know

The blog post you’re now reading is part of our all-new Rockview community, Latest MOOS blog and social pages. We built this online community hub to make sure you could get all the latest news, announcements, and recipe ideas in one convenient place. You can also shoot us a tweet right from the Latest MOOS page, and get one-click access to any of our social media profiles. You’ll also find the Rockview blog in the Latest MOOS dropdown menu.

Something for the Family Chef

What would a new Rockview website be without some new, fantastic recipes? We made sure to include plenty of them on our new Recipes Page, so, if you were wondering what to make for dinner tonight or you’re simply filled with culinary curiosity, take a look! You won’t be disappointed.

New Locator Feature

Search no more! If you’ve ever had trouble finding Rockview products, you’ll love our new Product Locator. You just enter your ZIP code, and voila! See nearby stores carrying what you need. On that note, if your favorite store doesn’t carry Rockview products, and you’d like to change that, use our new Product Request Form. It’s fast and easy.

Just for Our Wholesale Friends

Last but absolutely not least, we made sure our wholesale partners have easy access to the interface they know so well. If you’re one of our existing wholesale customers, or you’re interested in starting a relationship with Rockview Farms, just click on the red Wholesale link at the top of any page on the site.

Be sure to check back for regular blog posts. We promise to keep things interesting and fun! Before we sign off, we want to make sure you know one thing: We might have a shiny new website, but we’re still the same hometown family-owned and -operated dairy we’ve been for the past 50 years. And customers and partners like you are still—and will always be—part of the family.

Thanks for stopping by!

Before You Go, Help Us Celebrate! We chose today, June 1, to launch the new for a very special reason! Today is World Milk Day—a day the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations first set aside in 2001. It’s a day where people all over the word recognize the importance of milk as a global food that keeps us all strong and healthy.

Now Here’s the Fun Part…
Take a quick capture of this page, making sure the words “World Milk Day” are visible. Then post the image on the Rockview Facebook page with the hashtag #RockviewFarms, between June 1 and June 2 at 9 p.m. You just might be one of five randomly selected folks who win a $10 Amazon e-Gift Card! What are you waiting for?!

Freshest taste around 👌🏼 Delivering farm fresh milk to a store near you! 🚛🚚 (Safely) snap and post a picture of one of our trucks on the road this week and we will send you a @grocery_outlet gift card! What did the buttermilk say to the refrigerator? Close the door, I’m dressing! Buttermilk dressing screams summer freshness! On a salad or as a dip, you’ll want to eat it with a spoon. 🥄(Go ahead, we won’t shame you!) Check out a tasty buttermilk recipe in our profile 😋 Want to spruce up your favorite recipes for baked goods? 🍪🥞🧁 Use Buttermilk instead of regular milk. It’s not just good for pancakes! Even if you use a box mix the buttermilk will make it special. This year we had the honor of awarding two college scholarships, click the link in our profile to read all about it in the Downey Patriot! 👩🏽‍🎓📚 We’re thankful for dads! Hope all of you fathers out there felt the love today for all your hard work and sacrifice ❤️ Just in time to plan your Father’s Day barbecue! He’s a classic and so is a 7-layer salad. You’ll be able to use all your veggies from your community garden plot. A 7-layer salad is a tradition worth keeping alive and when you substitute sour cream instead of mayo, you’ve made it taste even better. Layer fresh peas, shredded cheddar, diced tomatoes, green or red onions, bacon, sliced celery, and top with sour cream in a deep clear dish like a trifle bowl for a beautiful centerpiece on your next buffet. You’ll need about 12 ounces of each ingredient, but make it your own. If these aren’t your favorite ingredients, swap in your favorites. Some families are known to use lettuce, diced ham, and chopped eggs. Have fun and enjoy! 🥙🥒🌽🥕🥓🥒🥗 Rockview Family Farms has been the supplier of school milk to districts across the southland for decades.
